Tennis Turn Part 2

Hi guys. So this is the Part 2 of my first Tennis Turn Blog post. For this post I am still going to be talking about my tennis life but now since it is spring and almost summer there is more exciting news.

I am still playing tennis at the Brier Creek Country Club but since spring has started our JTT ( junior tennis team ) matches have started up again and I am on the team! How it works it that every Saturday or Sunday if it rains out team would play matches against another team. Our goal is to win as many  matches as we can so that we win as a team against the other team.

So far there have been five different teams we have played against and I have missed two games but I have made the other three. The first match I lost 5-6 in the tie breaker 5-7. I was really close. The second match I lost 0-6. Both of those matches were by myself but on my third match I played doubles and my partner and I won 6-4. I was really happy.

Before, I was playing tennis twice a week but now I have a private on Monday, a clinic on Tuesday, sometimes a clinic on Thursday, a JTT clinic on Friday, and my JTT match in Saturday. So I play a lot but I love it. I hope that we grow up I am as good as Serena Williams. She is really good.

I hope you enjoyed my post of Part Two! Thank you!

About my Trip to Paris!

Hi! So i just got back from Spring Break and I wish that it was never over! I had such a fun time! My and my family went to Paris and it was amazing!

On the first day when we got to Paris I was pretty tired since I didn’t get that much sleep  on the plane but I was still awake enough to go to the Effiel Tower! We got to go to the top of it( and I do not mean the antenna part.) and it was so cool! The view was beautiful. Also to be honest it was also very windy and very cold but that doesn’t matter. We also got to try some of the FAMOUS macaroons in Paris and they were delicious.

I searched up and Effiel Tower and outlined it

Another day we went to the Louvre and it was a museum full of paintings, statues, and artifacts. We even got to see the Mona Lisa! It was pretty cool and pretty crowded. The artifacts were also very cool and old. We even got to see the cool and very welled carved statues. The detail is so good that they almost look real!

I searched up a Mona Lisa and outlined and made some chamges to it. Just for fun.

The final day we went tothe Palace of Viceres. Viceres is a museum – palace that was used by Louis the 14th and 15th. We got to see lots of rooms and learned a lot about the structure of the building. We also got to see more statues and the Hallway of Mirrors. There are about 57 or more mirrors in the hallway an it was very reflective and nice.

It was such an amazing experience in Paris. I hope you enjoyed my post and yea! BYE!

About my trip to Amsterdam( In the Netherlands)

Hi! Today I am going to be talking about my trip to Amsterdam. It was really fun!

On the first day it was very chill because we just got off a 3 hour train ride and we didn’t really have any plans.

On the second day  we got to go on a canal ride and learn about some buildings in Amsterdam! It was cool and educational because we would have an audio recording and each time we passed an historical building it would explain the story about it and what it was called. It was pretty cool.

On the third day we went to the Van Gough Museum. We got to see all kinds of cool paintings by Van Gough and we had an audio tour so it also explained the story behind each photo. It was very colorful. I even learned why Van Gough had only one ear!

Here are some paintings below.

I took a photos of each of those pictures at the Van Gough Museum.

On the Fourth Day we went to Anne Frank’s home and learned about the World War 2 and how the conditions were living in a small attic with about one family and some other people. It was so cool! I learned so much and even got to see some of the pages of her diary! We also got an audio tour so it would explain everything to us while we were walking in the rooms.

The final day was the day where we were going to leave sadly. I had so much fun and didn’t want the trip to end.

Thank you for Reading!!!

Tree Planting

Hi! Today I am going to be talking about the 6th grade’s field trip to a tree planting site.

So what we did was the whole sixth grade was spilt into two groups so it wouldn’t be as croweded. My group first went into our library to watch a cool documanteary about trees and an old lady who loved them and wanted to learn about them. The documentary was about 90min and it was cool and educational.

After that we went on a bus that took us to the tree planting site. At first I was kind of suprised that it looked like that. It was very plain but in about 20 years there will be trees planted everywhere like a forest. After we got off the bus we got a quick explanation of how we should plant the trees. They said we could partner up with someone so I partnered with one of my really good friends.

This is the site

This was taken by my teacher.

We first picked a good spot and started digging. We had to cut a lot of roots out of the way and always try to dig around them so we cab get a better grip on it. I was challenging but we did it.  The second step was to make sure that the hole was big enough for the tree and it was so we started to put the tree in. We had to take off some of the dirt so the roots would be able to grow in the ground easier but it wasn’t that hard. After that we had the put our pile of dirt and clay mixture back around the tree. The final thing that we had to do was get buckets of mulch and make a donut ring around the tree. That is it!

These are some materials needed to plant a tree.

This was taken by my teacher.

We technically had to make two trees but me and my friend took too long. I hope you enjoyed this post!

Have a good rest of your day!

P.S. Me and my friend named out BEAUTIFUL tree Beyonce. It was amazing.

My Spanish Class

Hi! I am going to tell you guys about my Spanish Class! The first thing that I am going to say before I tell you about my class it that Spanish is actually a really helpful subject. You get te ability to learn a new language and apply all of your knowledge into actual conversations with Spanish people.

In my Spanish class we are currently learning about the weather and how to say what clothes you should wear and what hobbies or things you can do during a thunder storm or something else. We are also learning how to say the highest and lowest temperature and what the weather is like in different places.

I wrote this down to say what the weather was for the day.

This means “ In Durham it is cool, it is raining, and it is cloudy. IN my opinion it is good weather.”

We have also learned how to say personal information about someone else, how to say different languages, how to say different nationalities, how to say different places, and so much more!

We get to learn so many terms in a different language and it is kind of cool. If any of you guys are also learning a new language I hope you currently enjoy it! Bye!

LA Wisdom Tales Comic

Hi! Today I am going to be showing all of you guys this comic that I made inspired from a wisdom tale story. I know right now you might be like “ What is wisdom tales?.” Well wisdom tales is a book with multiple mini stories inside. Every time we read a story from the book we would have type the title, page number, origin, short summary, and the moral or lesson.

After we read a whole bunch of mini stories our teacher told us that we each had to pick one of the stories and retell it in a comic! I chose a story called Mice in Council.  If you don’t know this story then read my comic! I made it using Comic Life 3 and Sketch to make it!

This is my comic that I made for Mice in Council.

I hope you enjoy my comic! Thank you! Bye!

About my trip to London

Hi! Today I am going to tell you guys about my trip to London! We went for my birthday and is was spectacular.

I outlined a whole bunch of pictures and put them on on page.

So we went to a lot of places but I am going to sum up the most memorable ones.

1. So one time we went to Buckingham Palace and saw the change of guards. ( it is like the guards of the palace were moving around in different formations. It was kinda cool. But also confusing)

2. We also walked and saw Big Ben. It is so tall up in person. We didn’t get to go inside of the building but at least we saw it.

3. Another place that we got to go in was The London Bridge. It was really cool. We got to read about its history and see a beautiful view.

4. Another time was when my mom and I went for high tea and it was really cool. The view was pretty and the food was ok. ( Most of it was complex stuff) But it was still good. At the view we also got to see The London Bridge and The London History building.

5. Another time was when we went to the  London Eye. It is like a Ferris Wheel that gives you an amazing view of Big Ben. We got to go on it and saw an amazing view. It was so cool and so high up!

These are some of the main places that we went to in London. Thanks for reading and have a good day! Bye!

Harry Potter Book Series Review

Hi! I am going to tell you guys my own review about how I think the Harry Potter series is.

I took a photo of these Harry Potter books.

P.S. I know there are seven books in the series so just to make this not too boring I am going to bunch up all of the books into one whole review.

So what I think about all the books are that they are amazing!!! The amount of detail in every single book brings all kinds of visualizes  in your head because of how clear the understanding of the writing is. When I am reading the book I understand what is happening which makes the books an even better experience when reading them!

I found a photo from the internet and I used a drawing app to outline the picture and make it different.

So if you haven’t read the Harry Potter book series I suggest you start reading all of the books and watch all of the movies too! These books just brings in a whole lot of action, adventure, excitement etc. which makes the books really interesting!

I hope you enjoyed this review of the Harry Potter book series and yea. Bye!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi! Happy belated Thanksgiving! I hope you guys ate ALOT of food and had fun! Today I am going to share some cool facts about Thanksgiving and what I am grateful for. Hope you enjoy!

I searched up a photo of a turkey and outlined it on a app and made some changes to it.

Did you know that in 1621, the Plymouth colonists from England and the Native American Wampanoag people celebrated Thanksgiving together? Well this did happen but it wasn’t until in 1863, President Abraham Lincoln declared Thanksgiving a national holiday in November during the midst of the Civil War.
